I am trying to use Lopster (1.0.1) with SuSE 8.1 but seem unable to connect to any servers. Lopster either returns an error of being unable to resolve the address or that it can't login.
The Lopster forum list a number of other users who have the same problem but no solution.......hence I have come to the experts!
Any ideas?
ps I'm a Windoze convert of a couple of months and you guys have been a great help so far. Thanks! Having begun to get my head around the o/s I now know why Microsoft are worried.........
i assume this is a p2p program in which case it may be somewhat out of date and therefore looking for servers that are no longer there or have changed adresses, in which case you would need to find a way to alter what servers lopster looks for, or else you could try a host of other p2p programs, I use gnutella but if your ambitious you could also get kazaalite working under wine
