I have been trying to install linux unsucessfully. Firstly I never get the LILO boot option, and have to creae a boot disk . And for some reason this causes a text only installation to take place which defeats the purpose oh LINUX. Could this problem be beacuse i used Partition magic to nake the partitions and the linux ex2 partition needs to be a primary hdd.

Hi there.
Just wondering, when you say that you are un successful at installing it, do you mean that the install is never completed, or that you finish the install but need a floppy to boot afterwards?
