load balance multiple broadband connection

The subject says it all, I need to take 2 Cable internet connections and have them work together.

The cable Internet (both) will go from 1 port into the switch and 1 port into the linux server.

So basically I want to have 3 gateways
192.168.1.1 -> Mediacom
192.168.1.254-> Other Cable
192.168.1.253 -> Linux server load balanced both ISP's

I read about bonding. But it seems to me that bonding only works if you have a direct connection to another server you need a big pipe to.

Thanks for your help,
John
