Unhappy Linux for Thin Clients?

I need a linux distro for thin clients.... I have tried puppy linux and Tinny Core Linux. Tiny core was perfect, only it dosent remember anything.
Anything as light as TC but without the complications?

thin client, means pxe (pixy) booting, from a server (since there is no storage device inside the client).
Each distribution can be turned into a pxe server, from where clients can boot.

It is very simple to setup Ubuntu for your purpose, using a server with Ubuntu and the Linux Terminal Server Project (LTSP) installed, from which your thin clients will boot. More infos can be found here.
