DLNA server with 64 bit Ubuntu that works with Google TV

I have tried quite a few DLNA server with my Google TV , and TVMobili seems to work the best for me. Due to the fact that I am running an AMD 64 bit processor I had to go a few small extra steps to get the streaming goodness.

First you need to download the latest greatest Debian based package by opening up a terminal and pasting the following.

Oh Google how I <3 you ... and apparently you <3 me back. I just got my free Logitech Revue, compliments of the Google Developers contest. It couldn't have come at a more perfect time. I am in the midst of moving. While moving I dropped a huge box of technical books on my laptop and that sucker is fried like a meal at a truck stop. Ok, no worries I have a server, I can plug a monitor into and build a GUI ... plugged it in ... nothing. Changed the power supply ... nothing. Now both computers...

guitar pro 6 on 64 bit Ubuntu

Guitar Pro 6. It ROCKS. It rocks out on Penguin Power. This is the first time I have paid for software in years ( they offer a trial version as well). What more can you ask for ? I have been using Guitar Pro since 99 when I lived in Paris, and it has helped me learn countless songs. There is however a catch , it only officially supports 1386 architecture. Not to worry, if you are rocking 64 bits of awesome like me you can just bring up a terminal and do the following.

Pandora Client for Gnome

Who has two thumbs and is always closing the web browser with pandora running ? This Guy ! I splurged and bought the Bose Companion 5 speaker set for my computer and now the living room is pumping out classic funk ! However I am constantly closing the browser by accident. So the answer I came across was pithos.

Moving ubuntu minimize, maximize, & close buttons on Ubuntu 10.04

As I drink my scotch after a long day of golfing I ponder life's great philosophical questions, such as the direction that Linux is heading, and if the wife is going to yell at me for that new scotch stain on the couch. Are we men, or are we mac users ? I mean seriously, whats with the buttons on the left ? Is it some insidious plot to ruin my optimistic attitude in life, like the KFC Double Down ? Is it a new direction that Ubuntu is going if it has already been trodden down by turtleneck wearing...
