Post Linux chat Clients???

Hi

I'm new to linux, recently converted over from windows XP

i used to use MSN, yahoo etc for the windows platform, also a program called trillian that would combine all these chat clients into one

is there a way to 'MSN' using linux?

if someone out there has a link or any advice for this i would really appreciate it

thanks

Yes, there are several IM clients: Gaim (supports AIM, Yahoo!, MSN and others), aMSN and Kopete (I think this is a multi-protocol one also, but have never used it) amongst others.

I use Gaim personally and I like it. You can probably find these for your distro, I know nothing about OpenSuSe though, having never used it.

Above all, welcome to LQ and have fun with Linux .

Hi, I am conducting a small survey and I was wondering if you'd give me a minute of your time?

Did you use the search feature of this site at all before posting? If you did, were the results satisfactory? Also, did you try searching for a solution with Google? Again, if so, did you find the results worthwhile?

Thank you for your participation
