Linux Audio: Connecting Rosegarden to Ardour via qjackctl?

I've written a song in Rosegarden (0.9.8) that I'd like to pull out as a sound file, so I thought I'd drop it into Ardour (0.9beta11.2). I'm having the worst time with it, though. I've used qjackctl to connect rosegarden:master out L and rosegarden:master out R to a stereo bus in Ardour. When I hit play on the transport, I can hear the song playing. For some reason, though, I don't seem to be getting any input into Ardour since the sounds files I record are all blank and the level meters don't even twitch.

Is anybody out there familiar enough with Jack/midi/linux audio to be able to help me? I know this has been done by other people based on the googling I've done, but I just can't seem to figure out what they're doing differently from me.

Jack 0.92.0
alsa-lib 0.9.6
Kernel 2.6.1 on a heavily modified Redhat 9 system.
