Is there a Linux app to join videos. i need to join mpg, avi, wmv. Does not have to do conversion, just join same type to a common file. I have searched and cannot find any. I did find one that joins mpg, mkvtoonix, but need the other formats.
There are literally dozens of apps that do this in Windows. I have tried a few to work with WINE but they crash.
This is my last need to be able to completely switch over to Linux. I am surprised as such a common app in Windows, there may be none in Linux.
Compared to other OS's, Linux does not have many video editing apps at all. Ffmpeg is the first program that I think of. Check out this wiki link. http://wiki.linuxquestions.org/wiki/Video_editor
