Linux alternative to Cisco VPN client

I have had enough of Windows and would like to start using Linux on a regular basis instead. I experimented with it a while back, but I couldn't find an alternative to Cisco Systems VPN Client Version 5, which I use in Windows all the time. Can someone suggest a Linux program that does the same thing and give me some instructions on how to set it up to access my company's network?

I am thinking of using either Ubuntu or Kubuntu.

It's likely in the repositories for whatever distro it is you're using...

The Cisco VPN Client is available for Linux. Just go to your Cisco page and download it - any company with a valid Cisco VPN licence should be able to access the download area.
