lineak+ fedora core 6+ kde


when i istall lineakd it istalls : Installing:
lineak-defaultplugin x86_64 0.9-2.fc6 extras 59 k
lineak-kdeplugins x86_64 0.9-2.fc6 extras 86 k
lineak-xosdplugin x86_64 0.9-2.fc6 extras 26 k
lineakd x86_64 0.9-5.fc6 extras 214 k
lineakd-devel x86_64 0.9-5.fc6 extras 183 k


i start lineakd -l then lineakd- c then type of my keyboard(logitech internet navigator special edition usb. then program says to start klineakconfig but it doesnot exist on my computer. when i start lineakd it says:

Maybe we should exit now?


and serial number of failed request changees from 14 up to more then 100 what sholud i do?

Talking lineak + fedora core 6 + kde

Actually - if this is what you are seeing it is working!

Now test out your multimedia keys and they should work. Reedit your config file if they don't and restart lineakd

Once you are happy with the set up - close your terminal session.

In Konqueror, go to ~.kde/autostart/. Right click, then click on Create New / Link to Application... On the application tab, enter lineakd as the application. Fill in the name field etc. Then restart KDE. Lineakd will load at the start of the session, along with autorun. And it should all work.


PS - took me three days to work this out!!!
