Question Lime wire installation in debian

I have downloaded .deb package directly from the website and have tried to install it the way it has been told on the website and following is the output of the terminal

debian:/home/anjum/Desktop/Downloads# sh ./LimeWireLinux.deb
./LimeWireLinux.deb: line 1: syntax error near unexpected token `newline'
./LimeWireLinux.deb: line 1: `!<arch>'
debian:/home/anjum/Desktop/Downloads#

Please guide.

.deb packages are installed as root or with sudo as follows:
Code:
sudo dpkg -i ./LimeWireLinux.deb

Thank you for the prompt reply. I have always faced problem while configuring the java and same is the problem here

I have downloaded the java from java.com and have installed it as told. It has installed itself but i guess some configuration is needed.

In Debian, the First place to look for a needed package is Always in your repository. Do I install outside packages? Yes. But, only in cases where there is no Debian package, or the Debian package hasn't been brought up to the version I need, or I have some other special need. Do an apt-get install on these java packages or use Synaptic, and then try it again.
