libreoffice 4.2 windows 8.1

ello all. i am running libreoffice 4.2.1.1 on my windows 8.1 machine. I posted a comment on the libre office forums but no answers to it and it has been a week.

I am trying to get libre impress to do 3d transitions but cant for the life of me figure out even how to begin that task. haha. The standard transitions are so old school and tacky, i need some better transitions and animations than the default.

thanks

this is more fitting for the "general" section
seeing as it is a Microsoft win 8.1 issue

and not a linux one

3D transitions are ones that look way awesome. Microsoft ppt 10 has some like glitter and honeycomb effect.
here is a movie showing what i mean

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GCtU2FbmSc

none of the transitions by default in libre office do this nor is there a extension or add on for it. its something to do with opengl i think

Oh those
unfortunately as a professional photographer i always hated these type of video transitions

sorry but, hated is putting it very mildly .

i will not be of much help

that is more a VIDEO scene transition than a powerpoint transition

is the plugin "libreoffice-ogltrans" installed

it is in the Debian and Ubuntu repos
and in the fedora base repo

The comments following the video make it clear that you do need to install the libreoffice-ogltrans package. Here's the quote:

You must install libreoffice-ogltrans or update your Libre Office with new version
As JohnVV said, it is a package in Debian.
