LDAP Configuration on Redhat 9


Hi All,

I'm trying to configure Open LDAP on Redhat 9.

I have installed all the require client/server rpm as per the openldap website.
when I'm running following command

ldapadd -x -D "cn=Manager,dc=roseitsolutions,dc=com" -W -f ldap.ldif
Enter LDAP Password:

its asking for passworkd

after supplying root password, its showing following error


ldap_bind: Invalid credentials

i faced the same problem as i'm new to ldap and want any one to help me to undestand this problem!!
