Running Mint 17.3 32bit and Firefox 53.0.2. I installed the LastPass extension (Version: 4.1.49) but since the recent update (5-3-17) some functions are not working. I cannot export my passwords into a CVS file only a text file which does me no good. I also have the settings to logout after my browser is idle for a certain period of time. That does not work either. While reading I found out that these along with other functions you need the "Binary Component" installed which I checked and Lastpass states "Binary Component: false". I downloaded the zip file " lplinux.tar.bz2" but I am lost from that point on. Any help would be appreciated.
Tks
Dennis
Uninstall whatever you installed and point your browser at https://lastpass.com
or in browser's addons area, search for it.
There is no need to download lplinux.tar.bz2.
I "removed" the Lastpass extension from Firefox. I cleared all my cache, cookies, etc. and downloaded Lastpass from the site link you provided. Still NG. When I try and export my passwords it opens up a new tab in my browser with all the passwords, etc in text form. It won't download to a CVS file.
Does the same here, after Master Password. LP 4.1.49
Opens in a tab in the browser, parsed in CSV format.
At this point, you'd have to File > Save As > and name it with a .csv extension.
I was able to follow your instructions and save the file and open it up in a spreadsheet. The auto log off function when the browser is idle for a set period of time is still not functioning. The binary function supports features as described in the link below. Tks for your help with the CSV file.
I haven't tested the export functionality, but my Lastpass stopped logging out after the set interval, as well. Now I have to manually logout. I'm running Mint 18.1 Cinnamon and using Firefox 53.0.2.
