kopete disappears in suse 8.2
I'm trying to update kopete work on my Suse 8.2 laptop to make MSN support work.
I startet by downloading the source-files for ver 0.7.4 from kopete.kde.org and tryed installing these - I think there have been some bugs in my download since I've seen some postings about that. Anyways then stopped working all together. Therefore i removed all packages and installations and tried to reinstall with a new download of the sourcefiles. This time the compiling etc. seemed to work just fine, but when i try to start kopete I get an error that no such file or command exists, and kopete does not appear in the K-menu either.
I finally tried to reinstall ver. 0.7.3 from a Suse-rpm downloaded from Suse.com. This also seemed to work just fine, and I can start kopete, but now it just appears in the system tray for a couple of seconds and the disappears again. If I start it from console i get this error:
kopete: relocation error: kopete: undefined symbol: _ZNK7QString8multiArgEiRKS_S1_S1_S1_
What am I missing - I've spend hours searching the web with no luck, but can not seem to find any answers - still I fear that I'm missing something very obvieus... Can anybody help me please???
