Insight is not a kernel debugger, it is a regular old debugger. It is also not a front end by the looks of it, just a fork of GDB with a tcl gui interface. I wouldn't expect it to integrate with kdb.
i dont know what kdb is, but i think you wont be able to run a grphical frontend like ddd, which runs under X until an OS is there inside the computer...?!!
kdb is the kernel debugger (for reset's benefit). It allows you to connect to debug the kernel on one machine from another machine.
mjalalynia,
I think your confused as to what a kernel debugger is. DDD is NOT a kernel debugger. It is a front end that supports many debuggers including GDB, DBX, WDB, Ladebug, JDB, XDB, the Perl debugger, the bash debugger, and the Python debugger. I don't believe DDD supports kdb but it might. Check out http://www.gnu.org/software/ddd/ for more information.
