kernel (2.6.10) compile problem
I'm been trying to compile a new version of the kernel to see what sort of speed difference it makes (and hopefilly to fix my sound problem). I'm using Debian, running 2.4.27 right now.
I've run make menuconfig, and set everything up how I want it. Before I build it I do a make-kpkg clean. When I try and compile it though, I get this:
ack:/usr/src/linux# make-kpkg --revision=rar0 kernel_image
(tons of spam from it compiling stuff for a long while)
then the last part:
CC sound/pci/snd-ens1370.mod.o
LD [M] sound/pci/snd-ens1370.ko
CC sound/pci/snd-ens1371.mod.o
LD [M] sound/pci/snd-ens1371.ko

...I'm no expert at kernel stuff by far, and only been using linux for about 6 monthes. Any ideas on what could be causing this?
Thanks in advance.
