Wow guys, sorry for another post. Its problem after problem so far with linux. I just installed kernal 2.4.21 and I am using an Ambit Cable Modem (External) via USB. It still doesnt pick up my modem even after installing the new kernal. Is there a newer kernal out there? I installed the kernal right cuz it took my through some kind of installation process. which by the way almost screwed up my linux os
. anyways.. is there another way to get my internet connection (other than bying an eithernet card or anything like that).
