KDE jovie not working

Hi All,

When I try to use jovie to speak, a dummy output module starts talking and says none of the modules are working. I check the logs and find this:

Code:
[Tue Nov 29 13:44:11 2011 : 231874] speechd: Module festival loaded.
[Tue Nov 29 13:44:11 2011 : 292777] speechd: Error: Broken pipe to module.
[Tue Nov 29 13:44:11 2011 : 292829] speechd: Output module terminated abnormally, probably crashed.
[Tue Nov 29 13:44:11 2011 : 292846] speechd: ERROR: Can't initialize audio in output module, see reason above.
[Tue Nov 29 13:44:11 2011 : 292862] speechd: Couldn't load specified output module
What is the problem here, and how can I fix it? Thanks!
