KDE Digital Camera

Does anyone know why I can't use Digital Camera from KDE Control Center. This is what I get when I try using Digital Camera:

Control Center->Digital Camera

Any ideas what's going on?? Also doing camera:/ under Konqueror produces this error:

An error occurred while loading camera:/:

Could not start process Unable to create io-slave:
 klauncher said: Error loading 'kio_kamera'.

under most cases you need to be root in order to access things like digital camers, and what not. you might try loging off as user, loging in to the GUI as root and trying again.

i just use gphoto2 and do everything via CLI so i do not have to worry about logging out and back into as root.

go there, use their CLI product and see if that will help fix things.
