kde - debian testing: how do I set up the screensaver?

Hi!

I just rebooted my desktop computer because I had noticed that kde had received a major update. I find myself in front of a heavily modified desktop, some of my settings didn't get carried away from what I had them like and I just can't find where to set up the screen saver. Where do I do it? Do I need to install some new package?

Thanks in advance.

As a side note: and where is asciiquarium? Can't find the package. I'm still struggling to set up the screensaver, so the first question remains unanswered.

Screensavers aren't implemented in KDE5 currently. At all. Nothing you can do for a nicely integrated screensaver. You can install xscreensaver and configure that, and it will work, but won't integrate beautifully.

KDE5 is, as of 5.3 at least, still IMO alpha software. There's a ton of things that don't work yet, tons not implemented, and it makes Windows look downright stable with it's crashing. It is the polar opposite of the KDE motto (experience freedom) in that they removed a TON of options (seperate wallpapers for different desktops, screensavers, etc) and are forcing anyone using it to do things THEIR way. If not for the fact that it's the only QT-based desktop that's complete enough for my tastes, I'd dump it in a heartbeat. I'm actually getting ready to redo one of my laptops to test out LXQT to see if I can get away from KDE with the sorry state of 5 (since 4 is end of life as of this month, it's a dead-end to stay with it for now).

I'll stick to it for a while to see if I can get around it. It's a very different interface though. I'll give it some time.
