KDE Camera Software

Does anyone have a recommendation for good camera software for KDE.

Ideal solution would download photos from my digital camera and allow for library management of some sort.

I have Digikam, which is included in Mandrake 10.1. Unfortunately it doesn't work with my camera. I have a Panasonic LC33. I chose this camera because of its Leica lens. A driver for it is not to be found in the Digikam database. When I plug in my camera, KDE recognizes it as a removable disk, just as in Windows. However I can not open any files. Seems like there should be a way to do that, but I haven't found it yet.
