You can remove your .kde directory in /home/your_user_name, to do so, login into system as another user, open up an Xterm/Konsole type
/bin/su -
enter password for root account
now you are root, this is the time to navigate to /home/your_user_name_you_want_to_have_kde, so issue
cd /home/your_user_name_you_want_to_have_kde
once there
rm -fr .kde/
exit
Exit of window manager, and login as the user who had problems with kde
Note: You'll loose all KDE settings for that user by removing .kde/ directory, so back up first what you might need before removing the directory.
