KDE 3.2 breaking keyboard?

I'm running Fedora Core 1, and I upgraded to KDE 3.2 using the RPMs on the KDE site a few days ago. Ever since, I've had two problems which I think are related.

First of all, when I click on a K menu item, panel button, or taskbar context menu item, the screen freezes. Rollovers still work, but that's about it. It starts working again after around 15 seconds, or (strangely) if I press the alt key.

Also, more seriously, the keyboard stops working entirely sometimes when I try to alt+tab. Caps-lock doesn't even turn the light on. The mouse, which is plugged into the keyboard's USB hub, will still work, but won't do very much (only the small icons in the alt+tab dialog box will do anything, and they just highlight). I lost my 40+ day uptime to this one.
