k3b burner speed question


when i try to burn a cd or whatever o get the message


medium or burner do not support writing at 2x speed
switching burn speed down to 0x



opc failed.probably the writer does not like the medium


any sugesstions please? what can i do?

Basically it doesn't like the make of disc(s) you are using. Try another brand.

You can try running k3b as root. But I agree different media is a good option. Some media discs just won't work with some writers.
