K3b

Having two problems with K3B, really.

When I put a 4.7 GB disk into the drive, K3B tells me that it's 4.4 Gigs, and I can't see any option anywhere to change that. Furthermore, it will begin writing at 4.10x, but all the way through it will go at around 1.6x. I know it can definitely go at 4x, it just doesn't seem to want to. So, burning DVDs is taking a lot longer than it should.

Any thoughts?

Edit:

Hmm, ok, so I solved the issues. The "4.7GB" was "saleman's GB", apparently. DVDs don't go over 4.4GB. And, the slow burning was due to background processes; once they stopped, it's zoomin' away. Sorry for this.

Ok, so now having another problem that always seems to crop up.

When I try to do a multisession disk, I get the response:
Quote:
Your writer (PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-106D) does not support Inceremental Streaming with DVD-R media. Multisession will not be possible.
Now, I'm not sure about the former, but I can definitely create a multisession disk with K3B, and I've done it in the past, on Mandrake, at least.

Any reaosn why this is happening and any way to change it?
