Java on FC6

Hi I am running Fedora Core 6 x86_64 and I need some help. I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction on how to get my java installed properly. I am having trouble getting it linked to my mozilla and I would like to be able to use the java in Mozilla. Has anyone run into this and I would greatly appreciate anyone's input on how to get this darn thing to work. If you need to know anything about the java itself or anything like that please just let me know. Thank You in advance.

it looks like your on an RPM-based distro, 64-bit. in the instructions for the 64bit version it says it isnt supported, so get the regular 32-bit one--it wont hurt you. look for "Linux RPM in self-extracting file"
