Java 6 install not working on Solaris x64

I've downloaded and run the .sh file for Solaris 10 x64 from
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/ja...ad-513648.html
But a java -version gives:
Quote:
NoClassDefFoundError: java/lang/Object
There are no jar files under the installation directory at all and they're not present in the downloaded file for the JRE or the JDK, although previous versions have installed a lot more files, what's going on here?
