Question is there a better video player?


hello guys,

im on mandrake 10.1 and im using kaffeine for playing some videos i download..
but the problem is that kaffeine doesn't run so well and i would like to know if there's better video player or an improved version of kaffeine...

I had a lot of problems with kaffeine too. get mplayer it plays any thing.

Kaffeine is a multimedia player for KDE that uses Xine as backend.
Maybe it you are running an unstable version or an older one, try upgrading Xine and Kaffeine to the latest stable versions.

Another good movie player is MPlayer.

Edit: I had once little problems with Kaffeine, it was an testing version. Now after upgrading everything to stable versions, I like it more than a regular Xine GUI and/or Mplayer.
