Is the desktop search broken? or is it me?

Hi, i'm a Ubuntu user and i just noticed how the built in tracker search tool is rather broken...

I tried to find a folder, called Past Exams, and it said it couldnt find it.
Then i looked for it manually and I found it...

what's wrong with it?

any suggestion? thx!
