is nagios free?


Hello
I wanted to know is nagios free or not a saw its official website but did not understand at the end which part is free and which part is not free?

nagios is totally free. sources under gpl2.

so what is nagios XI that is not free you can see http://www.nagios.com/products/nagiosxi/pricing. what does it do on nagios
