Is amarok ipod only ?

I was loading some music using konkeror when I though I could try doing the same but with amarok, with the advantage of using the playlist.

But it looks like the only device it supports is the ipod. Is that correct ?

what I'd like is synchronise a playlist with a USB type device. And Amarok sounded like the obvious place to do that.

AmaroK can utilize any mounted device. I have media from my hard drive, DVD player, USB drive and Wintendo XP workstation all playing through AmaroK. What happens when you try to play a file?

What I meant is managing a portable player, not as a source but as destination for files. Ipods need their db updated and everything but most other players are just disk as far as connection goes.

I was hoping that I could synchronise my collection with such a player using amarok.
