iomega_hdd sharing problem

hello everyone i have an external iomega_hdd plugged by usb2 into my pc wich ir runs under Mandraje linux official 10, this hdd has to be shared read/write with any pc in the network ( i have a router wich accept wireless/ethernet connections )
so i've shared this drive with samba and smb.conf look like this
Code:
[IOMEGA_HDD]
   path = /home/wael/iomega_hdd
   comment = /home/wael/iomega_hdd
   read only = no
   public = yes
   guest ok = yes
   browseable = yes
   writable = yes
   wide links = no
when i try to write/delete anything inside it from another pc he tells me that i don't have enough permissions so i've taked a look to the permissions it is set to 755
i'm the ownwer not root and to adm group, i'm using Gnome when i try to select others write and group write it go automatically unselected i can't change permissions even from a terminal as my user name or as a root he does not give me any errors but simply the permission remain unchanged

any ideas????????

Thanks
