Arrow Installing Windows games on linux


I wanted to know if it possible to install a windows based game on linux. in this case it would be WarCraft 3:Reigns of Chaos. i heard it was possible but i was never shown how.
if you know anything about this could you please respond. Thanks

Try looking into WINE, I believe it is an emulator that you can run windows apps off of.

I got half life for windows and would love to play counter-strike on linux!

with winex and correct opengl driver i play war 3 faster than windows just mount the cd rom and start setup with winex thats it

winex <install_prog_name>

Can ne 1 who is a subscriber of Transgaming get me the .rpm of their winex please? or post a link of where i can d/l it. thanks

Oh come on. You mean to tell me it's not worth $15.00 to you to get a subscription?

Go get the CVS version if you really want it. It's free (but I'm pretty sure you don't get the DirectX stuff, since it's commercial).

I don't think there's any restriction on how old you have to be... if there is, maybe you could get your parent/guardian to sign up for you?

I doubt that anyone here is going to help you get a copy illegally.
