Hi,
Remember to install Windows FIRST, then let Linux install its own bootloader (GRUB or LILO).
These will go fine to set up a dual-boot, whereas Win does not even see Linux partitions.
If you already have win98 on your disk as I think is the case, just install Fedora.
If you have to format everything, use a Live CD like Knoppix, use cfdisk, which will let
you choose the kind of file system you want and toggle the first parttion to be a bootable one.
