FC3 networking to Win2K almost there... need help!
OK,
I've been installing Fedora Core 3 on all the various PC's littered around my house and dumping Win2K from the same since it sucks but there is still one system with with win2K running (my wife's) that I need to connect to and share files. So I've got Samba installed on everything and I can see the systems listed in the "workgroup" window (little computer icons) but when I try to open one up I get the following error:
The folder contents could not be displayed
You do not have the permissions necessary to
view the contents of "Windows NetworK: media".
I'm assuming that this is because the Fedora system doesn't have the password for the sytem "media". Is this correct? If so, where can I enter it? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
