A few months ago I tried to install Dapper on my Toshiba Satellite M70. Unfortunately it whould continuously hang while trying to install the software. I was wondering if there was a solution for this?

Check your media

Check your media. I've noticed that any distro can be a little more persnickety than say a burned music CD due to error correction. I would start by burning a new cd or DVD and seeing if that makes a difference. Burn it at a fairly low rate to reduce the chance of errors.
