Hi,

I'm install Ubuntu successfully on Laptop Toshiba Satellite A70, but the keyboard did not response on any typing, so I can't even login.

Even when installing it there is difficulties, when it prompt first to select language the keyboard is dead but after I'm waiting about several minutes, I can use the keyboard to continue installation.

But that is not working when the x windows running though so I can't even login.

According to this page (see the lines below "It is very important to disable the following"):

http://www.computx.us/gentoo-A70.html

during installations problems with keyboard happen due to UHCI usb drivers. I have no experience installing Ubuntu (I use FC4/SuSE) - Check the installation once again normally there must be some like "Expert" installation mode where you can select what drivers are to be loaded and avoid conflicting ones.

Some more info:

In case you solve the problem post it in here as a courtesy to others.

You say keyboard is dead!

How did you manage to install?

Therefore start your install...
