installing skype for fedora


i install latest version of skype for fedora core 3.0 and it not connect to or i fail to create even new user ,
so think to remove it and try to reinstall but
i am allreddy from root login,
i follow the proccess as
application->add/remove-> show retriving siftware info
and ERROR ! MSG
"Unable to retrieve software information"
and that window close .
then how to remove it or any option?

Just do "rpm -e skype" as root to remove it (assuming you installed a rpm package)
