Installing mplayerplug-in 2.50 for Firefox 0.9

Hi!

Here is what I did:

- configure with --enable=x --gecko-sdk=mypath/to/gecko
- make install

I can see the plug-in trying to connect to the video source (Windows media player sources) but it doesn't play or stop buffering.

Did I missed something in my installation? Do I have to enable gtk2? Did anyone here tried this in Forefox 0.9 yet?

Thanks!

where is it that you're trying to connect to? Some sites give me more trouble than others. I would try going to the plugger testing grounds at http://fredrik.hubbe.net/plugger/test.html

see what results you get there.

Thanks Kermlet for this website!

Since all the test on the Plugger site were working, I must assume that it is site dependent. I was trying to load:
http://archives.radio-canada.ca/IDC-...s/guerre_golfe

And this one still doesn't work.

Anyway, now I know that it's not a problem with my installation, which is reassuring!
