Question Installing Gcc (it requires a compiler)

I have suse personal on my computer and I would like to install GCC and KDevelop, i have downloaded both, but they both require a compiler to install, SuSE only comes with the preprocessor from GCC and i am on dial up so downloading a pre built version is not an option (the last one i saw was 120mb). I have access to a Gnoppix CD with a working version of GCC, is it possible to get it off this cd and load it into SuSE.

Im new to all of this so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

did you check you SuSE installation cd's for the rest of gcc?
Control Centre - YaST2 modules - Software - Install and Remove, then supply the root password and wait a while. Then search the list for uninstalled gcc rpm's.
