Question Installing/Attaching a windows 'share' printer

How do I attach/install a printer that's installed on a windows partition and made to 'share' on the local network MSHome?

At the moment I cannot see printer to install or direct Suse to use as default printer.

Thanks

I don't understand what you mean.
Is the printer on this box, or is it on another windows box.
If it's the second case, you need samba.

If the printer is connected to you Linux box and you want to share it to other Windows boxes, you need Samba as perfect_circle has already mentioned.

If the printer is attached to a Windows box and being shared already, and you just want to access it from your Linux box, all's you need is smbclient (not the full samba install). If you manage to get this working, let me know. I'm having problems myself:

I've managed to connect to printers via smb from Linux boxes before, but that was where the printer was attached to a Unix box and being shared via samba. But I'm having problems with my current setup, where the printer being shared is attached to a real live Win2k box, as opposed to a Unix box running samba.
