How to share printer with Windows?

this is my situation:

My PC with suse is on a table without printer,
my printer is on a table where i put my notebook (windows XP),
the printer driver (Konica 1300W laser) is installed in my windows,
my desktop also has windows XP, it is networked to my notebook thru a switch router,
in my notebook, i right click my printer and choose properties-->sharing, give it a share-name (konica),
in my PC XP, i install network printer,
my notebook name is dell, i type \\dell\konica, like this, i can print from my desktop.

Right now, my desktop has suse,
how to do the same thing so that i can print from it thru my notebook?

It's easy using Yast or KDE Printing Manager to add a Samba printer, and connect up to the XP print share (ensure the Windows firewall is set to share files/printers). The trick is then setting the printer with the right driver.

As when setting up a network printer in Windows, both the host machine AND the networked computer trying to access that networked printer have to have the driver installed so also I believe that you may need the Konica 1300W Laser / Minolta PagePro 1300W B&W Laser Printer driver for Linux though I do not see any in the 9.3 list of printer drivers, you may want to do some research starting from here:

and here:
