Question installation Redhat 7.2 problem

Hello
I have attempted to install Redhat 7.2 fresh for a couple days now. It seems to install fully, then tells me to remove cd then reboot.
Then it automatically log in into my windows XP without ask me which OS i want to log in as me have 2 different OS(win XP and LINUX) in my single hardisk.I have select LILO during process of installation Redhat 7.2.Me even can't install boot disk for LINUX during installation process.
Is there anything I may be doing wrong to cause this? I have tried 5 installs now and get the same thing every time.
Thanks for those who can help me bout this problem.

I believe you have to make sure you tell LILO to write to the MBR. Then you have to configure LILO to boot WinXP. So you have to destroy something and then fix it. Someone on this site can help with dual booting with LILO.

Make sure you dont have any option in your bios like a Virus protector that is disabling lilo to write the MBR.

You might want to make a boot disk aswell so that you can use your bootdisk to start linux and you can try configuring lilo using the boot disk.

check this url out http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/mini/Linux+NT-Loader.html
it explains how to make a dual boot system NT+linux (it applies to XP as well),otherwise you'll need a boot floppy to boot linux.
