Unhappy imlib & fnlib problems

I'm trying to install Enlightenment on RH 8.0, but after trying to install imlib and fnlib (several times), notthing is installed from either the rpms or the tarballs. When I do 'make' I get these errors: cc1: warning: changing search order for system directory "/usr/local/include"
cc1: warning: as it has already been specified as a non-system directory.

Sometimes it says that it's already installed also with the rpms, so if there's a way I can remove the packages so it leaves no record of it being installed so I can do it right, that would help. If you need any other information about my disk configuration, just send me an email or leave another reply.
