Identifying Apache

I think that I have Apache installed but I have heard that it is terimal based. I have a GUI of it. I would like to make sure it actually is Apache. The GUI is located in the control panel, and it is called Apache Configurator. I have tried running it and going to my IP in Mozilla but it doesnt work.

Thank you.

You have a gui for apache. If that works, you surely will have a version of apache installed.
To be completely sure do a rpm -qa | grep apache
this shows the version of apache you've got installed
