ide for c++

Anyone know of an Integrated Development Enviroment for c++ to use in Debian? God help me, I'd like to learn a bit of c. One of those nice programs that underline mistakes, check for missing brackets, etc.
Any recommendations?

Yep, I was just going to post about that.

I use the basic vi text editor when I write code. Each person has their favorite code builder tool.

I believe eclipse is another good option out there. Just keep in mind to write code in C or C++ you need to install cdt pluging. I think it s a good practice to choose eclipse as your primary IDE for all programming projects, even though it consumes a lot of memory.
