I was trying to install VCDimager so I can make VCDs with k3b and when I run make I get this.

I am not to linux savy and would like someone who understands that to tell me what it means.

Hello, looks like you've been waiting awhile. If your still looking to get vcdimager running I might be able to help.

I got the same error with vcdimager-0.6.12 too. So after some looking I found that 0.7.20 is out now so I down loaded that. I compiled that and got some new error. Search around for help on that, but there was none. I then looked closer at the error messages, and peek into the misbehaving files and fixed one line. Finished up my make and then make install and done. Just make sure you have everything it wants, if configure's completed message warns you of missing libraries, go get them or you wont have any binaries.

So you don't have to waste you time finding vcdimager-0.7.20, I put a copy
here . If you get an error during make about image.c at line 80, there is a simple fix. Change the matching function in image_sink.h to the same as in image.c.

Hope this helps and hope you get this reply.

-Jon

P.S. If you have a newer version of K3b, mine is 0.11.12, you'll need version 0.7.12 or newer of vcdimager anyway. Also, if any one is reading this in 2005 or later and vcdimager's site is still not up/non-existant, I might not have this file up there any more. But maybe I still will. I dunno.
