I need a video editing program that working in Fedora 9
The only reason that I'm still on Windows is because I can't edit my youtude movies on my Linux box. Anyone have any programs that can help me. I sick of see computers with Trojans ans all.
Wish I could use OpenMovieMaker but tried to install for a day without getting it work.

Check out cinellera and kino. There are lots more, that can be found easily with a quick Google search.

Also check out Avidemux.
yum install avidemux

Cinelerra is installed but it is hard to use so far and will only read .mov files for some reason.

vwtech what video codecs have you installed
i have no problems reading any video in Cinelerra or in Avidemux
What did you install
1)

I'll make sure that codecs are installed per your instructions but do you have any links or how knowledge on using Cinelerra? By the way thanks for your help in this matter.

Try downloading Virtual Dub. It's pretty feature loaded.

also to convert the youtube flash files you might want to look at this guide by DangerMouse
