Huge Fonts in Mozilla

<< This is a Cross-Post >>

i suddenly seem to have this problem of ultra huge fonts in browsers. it occurs in mozilla/konqueror/Opera and i'm guessing any other program that uses these as a base.
ve tried removing adn resintalling mozilla, deleteing all teh prefs file in my home directory, swithcing to new user, to an older kernel, and reinstalling Xfree86.
i'm at my wits end and open to any suggestions short of removing and reinstalling red hat.!
anyone have any ideas ?
i'm runnign RH 8.0 with kernel 2.4.24 as well as 2.4.14(Stock)
i have the nivida drivers installed, but switching to vesa or nv didnt seem to help either.!

Wink

Here are a couple things to try:
1. In Mozilla, in the menu, click on edit, preferences, appearance, fonts. Then look to the display resolution, and click on the checkmark. That should open up a menu. Click 'other', then measure that line and type in the measurement (check whether it's inches or milli.) If that doesn't fix the fonts to the size you want, play around with the number there a bit, making it higher or lower. Should help in at least Mozilla, if not the rest.
2. Fonts can also be controlled overall by clicking the redhat menu at the bottom of the screen (in the gnome settings, at least,) then preferences, and then font. Also check out that there is a second screen available, not just the opening one.
Hope that helps.
